Day 4: 526 total.
This one's not surprising or depressing. Scratch that. It is surprising I got anything done today. I forgot I wrote a couple lines this morning, causing me to skip breakfast to get to work on time. The rest of the day, I had company over, so that's a free pass.

Day 9: TBD (yesterday's count: 832)
Trying to squeeze out a few lines to keep up my average of 100 words/day. I'm hitting that point where I've given up in the past. I get to the last hour of the day before realizing I haven't written anything. Keeping track on the NaNo site is really helping this time. Gotta get those consecutive update badges!
