I'll post updates of my wordcount here to stop the forum getting clogged up :-)
I end the first couple of hours of NaNoWriMo on a comfortable 2,178 words. I need to sleep and later go to church, but will try and write some more later today (tomorrow? today). Tonight has been quite productive, it seems :-D

It's the end of day 1 and I've gotten to 5,045 words. Yay for weekends and headstarts!!!
Tomorrow might be quite a bit busier, but I'll try and get the daily wordcount done between lectures, homework, and a trip to York Minster in the evening. Busy busy busy...

Day 2- I've finished just over the daily requirement of words, adding 1731 to make for a grand total of 6776 words so far. I would write more today, but my evening is busy and I have two assignments due in on Wednesday to complete. Ah, the joys of real life...

Day 3- again, because of homework and other commitments through the day I wrote just over the daily required words, bringing my total up to 8,575. Both assignments are now written but still need writing up in the morning, plus I'm going to Selby in the afternoon. There's a few hours here and there I could write in, though, so I will see how far I can get tomorrow.

Day 4- well, that was an incredibly busy day.*falls over slightly* I only wrote 725 words, bringing my total up to 9300. I'm not too worried, since I've written something and have a headstart. Also, tomorrow promises to be a lot free-er for writing, since both the assignments I was working on today are now handed in. *sigh of relief* I should be around on chatzy more tomorrow, I didn't get the time today.

Day 5- today was a lot quieter, and I managed to make up what I didn't write yesterday and then some!! My total now stands on 13,372,which is approximately where I should be for day 8. :-D

Day 6: 15,507! I did about 2K words today, when I thought I would just do what was needed for the daily wordcount! :-) And the weekend's coming up, so I should be able to get even more of a headstart, which fills my heart with joy :-D
