So, I was thinking about the bear... do you think that it is Merida? or maybe one of her brothers? Or just a very coincidental test made by Emma?
and if it just a gigantic bear...can Rumple and Belle keep it as pet? That would be so cute

I have a feeling it's Merida. Maybe Emma transformed her into a bear? It would be kind of adorable for it to be just a big bear who becomes their pet.

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised it it's Merida. Unfortunately, if it is, then after that beautiful moment when the bear's about to bite Rumple's face off (I mean dramatically beautiful, not that I want Rumple dead!) the bear will probably sniff him, back off, and either go away or turn back into Merida because problem solved, he's brave! So, I'm kinda torn about the possibility.

Well, they pulled that off better than I expected. What was that pouch anyway, that Rumple knew it could protect them from the town line's effects but didn't know it would reverse a potion?
Also, thoughts on if he planned that, or if he expected to be eaten, turned his head so he wouldn't see it coming, saw the pouch and was like, oh, wait, let me throw that, see what happens?

He didn't plan anything beyond hiding in the library to be honest and somehow getting Belle out of town. Which shows incredible character development if you ask me, doing what he did.
