Hi guys. My name is Hedwig (same username as on tumblr; I'm known as betabee over on AO3), I’ve been a Rumbelle fan since last December, and I’m spending this year’s NaNoWriMo writing a Rumbelle superhero AU (assuming things go correctly and I don’t get writer’s block). I look forward to working alongside you all over the course of this November :-) If you want to add me on the NaNoWriMo website as a writing buddy, I have the exact same username there as I do on here.

We'll do our bestest :-) I've wanted to do a superhero AU for a while, it's always been a favourite trope of mine, so now's my chance. I've got quite a few ideas, it's just a matter of getting them into a coherent plot and on paper.

Awesome! Do you have any ideas yet about roles or powers? I love seeing AUs because there is so many awesome ways to go with it! As far as writer block, I think writing so much is just like working out- you get those creative muscles flowing and things start to come a little easier.  |

Interestingly I haven't worked out what powers they've got yet... I should probably sort that soonish in my outlining... I'm basing it off a tumblr post I saw on pintrest ages back about what it might be like if a superhero and supervillain were roommates and didn't know about it. Awesome! Superheroes for the win! I'm doing a OUAT/X-Men crossover so I imagine Hedwig and I will be having long conversations on the merits of various superhero powers...

I am totally down for conversations on the merits of different superpowers... :-D And yes, this is definitely going to be angstier than my usual fare so far.

I'm not basing it on any specific comic/movie universes; it's going to be a more generic new superhero 'verse, I think.
